Jali Collection

The Jali Collection is a beautiful celebration of the decorative textiles of India, Java and Indonesia. With two prints, three embroideries and a plain, available in six tempting colour ways, there is no shortage of decorative inspiration to choose from.

Jali, the lead design is a printed interpretation of the classic woven Ikats of Indonesia and Obi is a printed version of the wax resist technique of Batik, typically coloured in Indigo and orginating from Java.  Both designs are printed on a cotton linen mix, suitable for drapery and light domestic upholstery.  Tanah, a textured linen look uphostery is available in six muted neutrals, to compliment the Collection.  Flores, one of the three embroideries, is named after the Island of Flores located just off Indonesia, and is in keeping with the decorative arts of India.  No ethnic inspired collection would be complete without Myia a classsic all over embroidered paisley.  Finally Timor the remaining embroidery with its strong single repeating motif in coordinating jeweled colours, rounds off a truly decorative fabric collection.
